Meet Caleb Reich
Mr. Caleb Reich is in his second season teaching at Gasper's School of Dance. Though no stranger to our studio as a student and company member with the Fargo-Moorhead Ballet. Caleb teaches many genres of dance including Musical Theatre, Jazz, Ballet, and Tap. He is a well rounded dancer and we love his caring personality. Besides working at the studio, Caleb is the assistant costume designer for the Fargo-Moorhead Ballet. We love having Caleb's energy at our studio and part of our dance family!
Q & A with Caleb
Q. What is your favorite part about teaching?
A. Watching the students improve week after week. There is nothing like watching a student master a skill or reach a goal. They are amazing.
Q. What inspired you as a dancer?
A. #1 is always my teachers, but also lots and lots of media. Movies, TV, videos, Musicals. I have a particular love for the work of Bob Fosse and Matthew Bourne.
Q. Tips for Dancers.
A. Mistakes are good! It means that your instructor can see where to help you. We train to be the best we can be but never ever forget your love of dancing. Bring your joy and do your best.
Caleb Reich holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Originally from Medina, ND he studied dance at Top of the Stairs dance studio in Jamestown and has been dancing for 13 years.
He now lives and works in the FM area as a dancer, educator and choreographer. He is in his 3rd season as a company member with the FMBallet and second season teaching at Gasper’s School of Dance. Caleb is also works as a dance costume assistant for SJS Design Studio
