FMBallet Auditions
Did you know that Gasper's School of Dance is the home of the FMBallet company? The FMBallet is a non-profit dance company that performs two major ballet's each season as well as small dance concerts and travels for a regional festival.
This season the FMBallet will performing two major productions including The Classic Nutcracker, and Wizard of Oz. And a dance concert called Spirit Rising.
Auditions for the FMBallet will be held tonight, August 31 at 7:30pm at the studio.
Audition Requirements
Must be at least 12 years of age by January 1, 2017.
Adults welcome to audition
High-Intermediate, Advance, Pre-Professional, or Professional level
Open to all Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding dancers
Do not need to be a student at Gasper's School of Dance
Company Requirements
Company class / rehearsals are manadory
Company class are Wednesday 7:20pm - 9:30pm AND Friday 7:20pm - 9:30pm
Additional rehearsal time will be required. These take place on Sunday and are scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance.
Production participation required.
The ballet company focuses on ballet, pointe, classic jazz, contemporary, and tap. You do not need to be proficient in all levels. Though it helps to be a well rounded dancer.
