2023 Winter Showcase Information

Our Winter Showcase is a different event from our Spring Gala. The Winter Showcase will take place on Sunday, January 29 at Oak Grove School - North Campus. This is an informal showcase to demonstrate what your dancer has been working on in class to this halfway point of the season. Some classes may have a routine to share, while other classes may demonstrate an across the floor exercise or barre warm-up. We find it important to not only work on training and technique in the studio but provide the opportunity for dancers to perform in front of others as part of their training.

Adults $12 (pre-purchased) $15 (day of the event, at the door) Child / Students $8 (pre-purchased) $10 (day of the event, at the door) We will check each patron in at the door, as well as stamp your hand so you are able to come and go as needed throughout the day. Dancer's performing at Winter showcase do NOT need a ticket. Seating is general admission.

ATTIRE

• Dancers can just wear dance attire. Appropriate dance shoes for style they are dancing.

• There are no costumes associated with this event.

• Ballet class should wear a leotard.

• Please no sports bras.

Music Lab

NEW to Gasper's School of Dance this season, the Music Lab at our South Studio! Since studio owner, Matt Gasper moved back to the area his dream was to expand Gasper's School of Dance & Performing Arts to include move performing arts. This season part of that dream has started to take shape! With our recent move into our New South Studio space, we had a small room where Mr. Matt got the "Lightbulb" moment and thought it would make a GREAT music room!

Once we established the space, we found 3 music teachers looking for exactly what we have to offer. An independent space, a lobby, parking, staffed front desk, and the ability to work independently from the studio. Each music teacher manages their students, payment and schedule. Because of this, we have seasoned and highly sought after instructors who have been teaching and training in their disciplines for quite some time.

Like with our dance instructors and training, we want to provide the best training in music lessons as well.

Round 3 Info & Announcements

Happy Round 3 dance family and friends! We are so excited to continue to dance with you this season. Here are some updates for Round 3.

DRESS UP WEEK

October 25-31, 2021 is dress up week at both our studios! Come in your favorite dance costume, halloween costume, or dress-up wear. Be sure you can still dance and move as you will still dance during class. We can't wait to see your costume(s) this week!

BRING A FRIEND

Due to COVID we do have a few extra steps for your friend to join you in class this week.

1. Class that your friend will attend must not be full.

2. Your friend's parent will need to "trial register" their child for a class through our parent portal.

   1. Please note that they will need to enter payment information but NO charges will be charged to their credit card or bank account unless they register for a class at a later date.

3. Be sure to let your friend's family know which class, day, time and studio it is located so they can easily sign-up for the trial class.

Direct them to this post if they need help with the steps.

We are asking them to sign-up this way so we can have parents / caregivers sign our policies for safety reasons. We also want to make sure that classes are not too full to keep our dancers and staff safe and healthy due to COVID-19.

ROUND 3

Round 3 begins today, Monday October 25 and ends Sunday, November 21.

Payments will automatically be deducted today per the card you have on file. Unless you prepaid with cash, check or credit card prior to todays date.

THANKSGIVING BREAK

Please note that we do not have regularly scheduled classes November 22-28, 2021 as we will take the week off for Thanksgiving Break.

If you are interested in scheduling private lessons during this time, please contact info@gaspersschoolofdance.com and we can assist you in scheduling. Other wise enjoy the week off with your family and friends.

Competition teams do have practice scheduled Monday and Tuesday of that week.
