The mission of Gasper’s School of Dance is to provide the community of the Fargo–Moorhead-West Fargo with dance and theatrical training of the highest quality in a healthy, nurturing, passionate and inclusive environment. A place where you can grow as a performing artist and human, no matter what your interests and future careers may take you.
About GSD
Gasper’s School of Dance & Performing Arts (GSDPA), founded by dance and performing legends, Kathy and Eddie Gasper, was unveiled in 2005. Kathy and Eddie have over 100 years combined experience, training that they instilled into their dance teachers and the next generations of dancers. GSDPA has a long standing reputation as Fargo-Moorhead’s premier dance education studio and continuing the legacy his parents began, the studio is now under the direction of “Mr. Matt” Gasper.

This season, the Gasper “Family” celebrates 44-years of teaching dance. GSDPA believes in teaching life lessons and discipline, while supporting passion and enjoyment in a nurturing environment. GSDPA has a place for every dancer, both young and old, beginner through advanced, as well as, recreational to professional. Our classes are created to teach more thandance techniques; we strive to help create performing artists and community contributors.

All classes at Gasper’s School of Dance are held in a state-of-the-artfacility. Our classes are taught by professionals from Broadway, major dance companies, and noted universities across the globe. Our professional dance educators not only dedicate their time to our students, but also engage in fostering the growth of the Red River Valley’s artistic community and educating the artistic professionals of tomorrow.
Additionally at GSDPA, we are able to offer performing opportunities through our competition division, as well as through the Fargo–Moorhead Ballet Company.
